Responses to the Haiti Earthquake

The Other Journal is looking for people who are ready and able to write substantive theological responses to the Haiti earthquake quickly. If you feel you are able to offer such a response please let me know ASAP.

    Make sure you factor in your thinking the fact that the devastation in Haiti is not just due to the forces of nature. Consider government corruption, ramshackle infrastructure, and the dire poverty of the people – and the way the world trade and banking system fuck the Third World. In other words, we are talking not just so-called natural evil here, we are talking collective human sin, venality, and greed.

    I pray for those people who have been injured in Haiti. the earthquake in Haiti is one of the word disasters this year. I just hope that they would be able to recover soon.
