Alright, I’m taking a poll here because I know people are a bit divided on this one. Do you guys like having threaded comments here or would you prefer them to be standard format?

Voted no, because I lean that way, but I’m still on the fence.
It seems like it makes it a little harder to follow who’s talking to who when there are a lot of comments. I think I prefer the previous version of comments (not back to the wordpress days, but the first attempt at the dot-com website).
However, on the plus side of things, it makes navigating and browsing between different topics a little smoother since the comments pop down without going to a new page.
I suppose this wishy-washyness isn’t too helpful! So no! Just like the return to Kant, we must return to non-threaded comments! Don’t sacrifice the tradition for relevance! ;)
As a possible compromise, I would suggest that you turn down the levels of threading to a more manageable level, say 3 or so. The setting is under Settings -> Discussion.
